What do you truly believe about leadership? Your leadership beliefs translate into your leadership action. That action then produces results. Are you getting the results you really want? We need to take time to reflect on and rethink leadership. Beliefs and philosophies on leadership can be found just about anywhere, some of which we hold as truths today. However, some of those messages are outdated, inaccurate, or simply untrue. Due to changes in our world leadership has evolved from a top down, command and control style into a coaching and developing style. Are we making that shift? Talent, knowledge and experience doesn’t automatically mean we are able to coach others. There are coaching skills we need to continuously be adapting to in order to get the overall results we want.

The goal of leadership is to create a culture in which people can come to work and be the best version of themselves. That doesn’t happen by accident…it happens intentionally through our coaching!


This seminar was rescheduled from April 6, 2023. 

Steve Thomas loves people– and he loves seeing them thrive. He has worked in leadership development for more than 30 years. Today, he lives in Springfield, Illinois and travels the U.S. leading powerful discussions that help people and organizations grow and improve. When he's not speaking to a group, you'll find Steve coaching high school athletes. His nonprofit, Real Champion Sports, offers leadership and character development training for both coaches and athletes.
